This is the sound of my dreams: multi-cultural, angry, militant, joyful, danceable, great words. Asian Dub Foundation are the sound to be listening to. Their mixture of thrash guitar, jungle, rap, dub and traditional Asian music spans East and West and unites it all into a massive rush of sound that lifts the spirit. And it's not just music to dance to, the words are all important here, from the righteous anger of 'Free Satpal Ram', to the militancy of 'Naxalite' to the joyous 'Black White'. Destroying the popular stereotypes of Asian youth as passive and insular, the ADF are a kick in the teeth to racists everywhere.

I can't recommend this too much.
